Scope

The terms apply exclusively to entrepreneurs, public-law entities and special public-law funds. They combine general provisions with specific parts for custom software, software maintenance, standard software and licences, SaaS and cloud services, and hosting.

The German terms include rules on contract formation, cooperation, fees, acceptance, confidentiality, data protection, security, intellectual property, liability, service availability, support, data export and provider switching under the EU Data Act.
