Why we engage with InnoQuarter, KI.SH and BVMW

sudo/PORT is based at IZET within InnoQuarter Itzehoe, is a partner in the KI.SH network and a member of BVMW. We deliberately chose these three connections because good digitalisation needs proximity, professional exchange and an honest understanding of real business requirements. We want to contribute expertise in AI, cybersecurity and digital sovereignty, learn together and turn connections into tangible value for Northern Germany.
Why did we choose three networks?
The three connections serve different purposes. InnoQuarter and IZET give us a base in an innovation-driven environment. KI.SH connects us to state-wide knowledge transfer around artificial intelligence. Through BVMW, we meet entrepreneurs with concrete requirements from small and medium-sized businesses. Together, they create an environment in which technical ideas can be tested early against professional expertise, operational reality and regional responsibility.
What does InnoQuarter Itzehoe mean to us?
Our office at IZET is more than an address. InnoQuarter brings together start-ups, research, production and information technology. This proximity makes quick coordination, shared events and new project ideas easier. We contribute application development, local AI, hosting and cybersecurity to this environment and want to help turn good ideas from Schleswig-Holstein into robust digital products and secure infrastructure.
Why are we a partner in the KI.SH network?
Artificial intelligence only becomes valuable when it fits a real process and can be operated securely. Within the KI.SH network, we want to share our application development and cybersecurity expertise wherever organisations and specialist teams are planning their first or next steps. This includes clear guidance, realistic pilot projects, data and access concepts, and the question of how a solution can be operated independently over the long term.
Why did we join BVMW?
Technology must not be developed past the needs of small and medium-sized businesses. Through BVMW, we seek direct exchange with people who carry responsibility for customers, employees, investment and operations. We contribute our perspective on local and private AI, cybersecurity and our own infrastructure. At the same time, we listen, challenge our assumptions and bring real requirements back into our product and project work.
How should our engagement create measurable value?
Logos alone do not create value. Our aim is to make knowledge accessible, contribute to events, connect the right people and turn conversations into concrete next steps. Not every encounter has to become a project immediately. It should, however, lead to greater clarity, a better decision or a new collaboration. That is the standard we want our engagement in all three networks to meet.
